TIL Venv Is Not Allowed On Web Hosts

Today I learnt that web hosts, such as Vercel and Codeberg Pages don’t allow you to have venv as a path. This started when I was trying to help TheDoctor figure out why a single post on his website wouldn’t load and just gave a 404.

I spent a good few hours looking into this and finally found what the problem was. (For reasons unknown), web hosts (i.e. Vercel, Codeberg Pages don’t let you have the /venv/ path. I am going to try to dive deeper into this, but I just found it interesting.
